Spam overwhelms email, calls, notifications, and community platforms alike
Detailed description
Spam has metastasized across every communication channel—email inboxes, phone calls, SMS, push notifications, and online communities—leaving individuals and small operators with no unified, effective defense. Small email senders face Kafkaesque blacklisting by Microsoft and Google with no recourse, while legitimate personal domains get blocked despite sending only handwritten messages. App users are bombarded by marketing push notifications with no way to report or punish abusive senders, and community platform moderators lack fine-grained tools to suppress low-quality AI-generated content. Existing tools—platform-level filters, third-party email validators, and carrier spam detection—operate in silos, are opaque in their rules, and disproportionately punish legitimate small senders while failing to stop coordinated commercial spam campaigns.
